Barcelona Defender’s House Was Burgled while Playing Against Villarreal.

While playing in a match against Villarreal on a recent Saturday night, the residence of Barcelona's defender Jules Kounde became the target of a burglary.

Kounde was actively participating in the match, which saw Barcelona suffer a 5-3 defeat at their home ground against Villarreal. RAC 1, a local news source, reported that the burglary at Kounde's home involved forced entry.

Details regarding the specific items taken from the 25-year-old footballer's residence have not been made public yet. Law enforcement is currently gathering information from Kounde about any possible money or valuables that might have been stolen during the incident.

This incident marks the second time Kounde's home has been burglarized while he was playing a match. The previous break-in occurred in April during a game between Barça and Betis at Camp Nou.

Kounde has been with Barcelona since 2022, following his tenure with Sevilla and Bordeaux. The French international has appeared in 67 games for Barcelona and was part of the team that clinched the La Liga title in the previous season.
