TVC CEO Steps Down April 30

The CEO of TVC Communications, Mr. Andrew Hanlon, will be stepping down on April 30, 2024, after serving for seven years. TVC Communications, which owns TVC News, TVC Entertainment channel, Max FM, and Adaba FM, announced this decision. During his tenure, Hanlon oversaw significant changes in the organization's structure, infrastructure, and finances.

Under Hanlon's leadership, there was notable growth across all platforms, with a 330% increase in the daily audience, reaching 23 million viewers, listeners, and readers by December 2023. He also implemented substantial improvements in operating costs and revenue, leading the company to profitability.

Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, will succeed Hanlon as CEO and MD from May 1, 2024. The Chairman of the Board of Continental Broadcasting Services Ltd., Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti, praised Hanlon for his transformative leadership, acknowledging his significant contributions to the company's success.

Hanlon expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead TVC Communications and credited the achievements to the collective efforts of the team. He thanked the board for their support and guidance throughout his tenure.

In response to her appointment, Ajayi expressed readiness to take on her new role, highlighting her previous experience within the company and her commitment to driving its continued progress.
