A man named Emmanuel Ikoka has been apprehended by the Lagos state police for allegedly breaking into a building undergoing renovation and stealing electrical cables.
The spokesperson for the police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, shared this information on social media, advising people to take precautions to protect their construction sites.
Emmanuel Ikoka, aged 25, was caught by a security officer while leaving the premises of a building undergoing renovation at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.
He was found in possession of numerous electrical wires that he had removed
from the building. The police are currently conducting further investigations
into the matter.
