Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, has passed away. The king passed away on Wednesday, just after GoodyNews learned of it while attending the Eid prayers.
In a statement that our correspondent was able to view, Olasoju Adebayo, the Chairman of the Isolo Local Council Development Area, acknowledged his passing.He declared that the dead king would be buried in accordance with Islamic customs by 4 p.m.
"I have been instructed by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to formally announce the passing of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, today, April 10, 2024," the statement said. He was 64 years old.
"In accordance with Islamic customs, he will be buried today at his mansion, 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo, by 4 p.m. May peace be upon his soul.
